Job Satisfaction

It's tough to figure out what you want. Really, when you think a lot before you get into earning and you plan gold and when you get dimes left in your pocket with holes at the end of each month and u gotta walk carefully so that they don't sink out and you think 'ïs that what I planned....where am I going with this. What should I do to get out of this vicious circle? I have a job, there's no way to double my income, no matter how hard I work, I'll fetch the same salary." My buddy is facing the prob and I can in no way help him. But yeah, job satisfaction is more important than the job itself.
